This week has produced some record sized fish with official reports of 47Lb fish being weighed in. Many schools of striped bass around the 40+ inch range are migrating through the canal every day. Fish have been caught mainly in the mornings along the whole canal on Jigs and top water lures. The surf fishing has also picked up on many of the beaches mainly on surf plugs and bait. - G
